EAC Error Code : 30005 (StartService failed with 1275)

I've been struggling with this error, I kept reinstalling the game, repairing the EAC, check the drivers, allow EAC on the firewall, even restarting my pc does nothing. Anyone has any ideas?

Just started happening to me as well. I'm trying to resolve right now as it has something to do with Easy Anti Cheat (EAC). I deleted my EAC folder in Chivalry and am currently verifying files to reinstall everything. I hope this works as the game is not playable when EAC blocks you like that. It's also a very common bug apparently with EAC games.

As if EAC every blocked anyone from cheating ever. Worst program.

Same issue with me. So far, I've only been able to play by disabling hardware stack protection, which is something I neither want to do, nor is it convenient when I want to hop in and play.

Just bought the game and i'm unable to play, same error as below, from EasyAntiCheat, tried all the stuff i found on the web but issue still present.....

I was able to go into the game by replacing the .dll files from another game that uses EAC (in this case, Halo MCC). It gets me into the game, but as you may expect, it won't let me play for long before it boots me. I've sent a ticket to Torn Banner.

Already sent them a ticket, they told me "If you are banned you have to claim it on EAC site". I've changed PC for a quick test and it worked on Windows 10. The problem is Windows 11 not registering the system. So useless to contact Tornbanner, they are in no help.

Easy Anti Cheat wants you to disable Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection which is a new security feature, I'm not sure how I feel about this but if you disable it and re-boot your PC you should be able to play the game.

Today is June 4. EAC still wants you to disable this protection feature. F**k this disgusting anticheat app

I bought Chiv II a few months back, and immediately refunded it when I realised that it won't work with Hardware Enforced Stack Protection enabled.

Just recently got it through Humble Bundle and they still haven't fixed this issue.

I'm not disabling a security feature to play a game. That's ridiculous.

Fix your anti-cheat.

I will be refunding any game that stops me from playing it due to this anti-cheat software, which, from what I've seen online, doesn't even stop cheaters.
