I play on ps5 but I want to play on pc as well. But $40 for a game this old is a bit much (specially for my 2nd time purchasing it but that's on me, granted).

Its free on xbox Pc. I just played this travesty of a game and uninstalled in about two games lol tf is this trash. I thought it would be like lord of the rings was but its far from it.

g2a, cdkeys, and sites like them are perfectly fine and are only warned against by those who don't know common sense on the internet ngl, no offense. Cdkeys is the most reliable of these, g2a is just a market place so you must do your own research on what you are getting and what sellers are good.

I will vouch for cdkeys as I and a few friends got it off there for 6 dollars.

I did check some of the sites you guys mentioned but sadly the keys aren't available in my region, plus I like supporting steam anyway. It will probably come on sale in black friday
