How do i counter to alt slash and alt overhead

When i counter (from block) and press an alt attack it doesn't attack from that side, it attacks from the standard attack side.

So say i press alt slash i swing from the left but when i counter into alt slash i swing from the right?

Any way to make this not happen?

Feint so ur counter extends to their feint.

That's just how it works. Alt changes the direction of the attack. If you attack from block (a counter attempt) or combo, you will always swing from the left side rather than the right. So if you want it to come out on the left in those circumstances, don't hold alt.

Alt attack alternates your swing from your characters current held position. If you swing from the right, you will notice ypur character is holding their weapon the opposite way. So using alt will force your character to swing from the original direction.
