What's the skill gap between high level players and newbies? Is it so far that if they run up against eachother there's no way for the newbie to win? I remember Chiv 1 having some weapon swing delay exploit or something and people who learned that were doing some stupid looking but game breaking helicopter duels and killing people in seemingly impossible ways.
How well do you play when you run into a group of enemies? Do you actually employ the tactics learned in the tutorial, like riposte and stuff, or do you just turn off your brain and swing like mad? After the tutorial, they throw you into that Agatha/Mason battle and I tried to put into practice those things, but up against a large group and being nearly surrounded on all sides, I couldn't help but just swing at everyone.
Why do people hate archers? I haven't played it yet but I remember it being pretty hard to get good with in the first game.
There isn't really anything game breaking like that as far as I know.
You have to keep an eye on your stamina and learn how to counter and try not to fight outnumbered or it will be impossible. Most fights on 64v64 TO or 40v40 are people jumping each other or taking opportune hits to finish off injured folks so the skill gap is negligent and it's more about timing and awareness.
I like playing archer because it feels a lot different than the melee and also is a good way to piss people off lmao
"Funny thing about bullying is that it used to be a way to make people strive to be better based on society's norms." HaHaHaHaHaHa I don't even need to say anything. Jesus wept.

This guy gets it. From one bridge to another, I salute you.
It's about the comedy moments. If people want to sweat, run around your team pressing C with the flute and bonk the sweats when they get tired of your mad flute skills.
I will admit in the early days of Chiv 1 and here when everything was new, fun was found in experimentation. Eventually the Messer knight meta evolved but there were some heroes who kept the true way alive. MAA Boxers, Slingers, Heavy flail.
I feel our only counter to bullying is a unified front. It falls on all of us to remind folks. "It's a pub" Save the tournament play for the tournament servers.
I'm not saying bash lvl 1000's for being no lifers etc. What I am saying is we need to promote a fun game to play as a community, if we want any real reason to get sweaty over it. That's everyone, from the Vets who pop in from time to time, to the Newbie still trying to learn. You can usually tell by how your opponent fights what their skill level is. Don't Dragon Fist the grandma, and don't talk ♥♥♥♥ to the Bruce Lee impersonator.
I’ve also had people taunt me and even make fun of me for playing too much, so I totally get how it can feel. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get better—it’s all part of the journey!
Thats your answer
Okay Sasuke
If you want 1v1 duels go to the duelyard servers, in the server browsers. Not always a guarantee but if you just hang out and are chill, wait in line or w/e, people will do duels. Arena duels are not the way to get a lot of duels in fast.
If you keep feeling like you're ganged up on, try and stay with your team. "Hold the line" works pretty well, watch their backs and they'll try to watch yours, and you get blind-sided a lot less
This, a lot - I do the laugh emote a lot using the rapier, just because it feels in character lol
Roleplay is half the fun, when you're getting crapped on anyway
