Chiv 2 Really Fell Off

Ever since Fete update, servers are really bad. Laggy, disconnecting. Before the update, they were quite good actually.

Duel servers are fraught with rdm now that they renamed them from "flourish to duel" to "social".

Who thought it was a good idea to make all social servers stuck on the SAME MAP FOR ALL TIME? Dear Lord, at least we had a rotation of THREE maps before this update. Now, we are stuck forever in duelyard hell.

There's so many QOL features they just left out and abandoned this game without mod support. Not even a map vote?

Used to be a really cool game. Now it's just disappointing.

Honestly, i'm in love with this game and everyone that has known me in this community would surely even consider me a pretty good player. I usually play in 3 v 3 arenas but i also play in the objetive based maps from time to time. The game has become incredibly difficult to defend in it's current stage, no balance, plenty of cheaters even after they forced to install Easy Anticheat, you get into lobbies whent he match is already ended quite often, crashes are common and the game became incredibly heavy (alot after the Anticheat implementation) the cheater problem is also incredibly unaddressed, even with the Anticheats cheaters are able to fly, replenish their HP and speedhacking attacks, something that should be easily detectable by the server data. Game is also more and more empty and the community tends to be toxic. The developers also seem incredibly lazy in fixing basic mistakes and make the game unpolished and laggy. Netcode and hit detection also seem to have worsened alot in time and you also sometimes get attacked without the animation even playing. Overrall the game should die because it doesen't deserve any better since it was abandoned and neglected by its developers. I would not suggest ANYONE to buy it in it's current stage.

Don't get it, not worth it, not even 2K playing. Also no more content updates. As for the self deletion rumors, all videos surrounding that on YT seem to have been buried.

I just bought a cdkey for less than $7(USD) for a coworker from the site that sells cdkeys (not sure if there’s a rule against linking but you’ll figure it out.)

Also, haven’t noticed any cheating but if it’s 1 out of 32 people on a side I guess you won’t notice either. I have a strong suspicion a lot of people blame their deaths in game on 1337 hax instead of their lack of skill.

Sometime legit cheats do happen. Yesterday I seen the guy flying around. Some have no delay attacks. But most of the problems are not cheats but legit game bugs/mechanics, which says a lot of the game and developers.

This game does not have the cheating problem you guys claim lmfao, sounds like people who can't grasp the (arguably easier, dumbed down from Chiv 1) combat

This game is pure bliss. I can't tell you how upset I was when Chivalry 1 servers went offline on console before I had Chivalry 2 on PC... Playing C2 after C1 made it even better for me because it was enhanced in every way, this game is worth the money. I enjoy playing this game because I can play 1 round for 10 mins and have a blast, or play all night long and have just as much fun.
