stop selling skins without teamcolor/wrong teamcolor

about half of matches i have a really weird fight, where a dozen-person battle will resolve into just me & a guy who looks like a teammate who team damages me once, twice & then i realize he isn't a teammate he's an enemy using a skin that has the wrong team's colors or no team color. when i go to fight him i notice that he isnt blocking at all and i just wait to get initiative & lightspam him to death because he just eats every hit to the face, press tab, & afterwards i go "that was a really weird fight, why was the worst guy on the server the one who survived that fight to be the last enemy", press tab & do a double-take because he's top of the server
indicating to me that the reason that we actually won that fight but he killed all of our teammates & has been getting the most kills in the server bc my teammates couldn't tell that hes an enemy. & also because he's -- effectively, cheating, he has just fallen out of the habbit of actually playing the game but still top-scores every match they're in

it really sucks the joy out of the game. i cant really care that we're losing a match if the top 2 enemies are basically playing with invisibility turned on, but also it sucks all the joy out of our wins bc if i notice it in in 1 out of every 2 matches then i have to assume that the matches i dont notice it is cuz the cheater(s) is(are) on my team. i would sing this game's praise to every person & community that would hear me, but the fact that devs are selling what are effectively a cheat singlehandedly ruins it.
(which is to say nothing of the maps that are yellow on yellow, with both teams being yellow colored & the team indicator being UNCHANGABLY yellow, & also the crouchbinders)

its so close to being my next team fortress 2, & the devs trip right before the finish line & ruin it just to sell skins. its a shame. ive never actually seen anything this brazen

PS, anyone else notice that in chivalry 1 there are no team indicators at all, & chivalry 2 saw the need to add them, but only added them for teammates, so that enemies who look like teammates will have a negative lack of an indicator that they're an enemy instead of a positive indicator that they're an enemy, to give people paying them for a gameplay advantage extra value for their cheats. the devs think they're clever, but they're not

Yep, huge issue. It's got to be blue or red, or the tenosian colors. All this mixing causing a lot of confusion.

I beat up on a guy yesterday by the cart, and ended up he was one of ours. Felt bad, should not have happened, if he was wearing the proper coordination.

at this point if i go to whack an enemy & realize it's a teammate who's cheating i votekick. idc if it's techniquely within the constraints of the game bc the devs sold him that skin for IRL $, i paid money for this game too & i dont want him to ruin my win for me by tainting it with his lack of honour (& thankfully most teammates vote yes without checking). id do the same for my opponents if i saw my teammate noclipping, but unfortunately none of my opponents ever return the favor

yeah i was caught off guard by someone with the rebel knight skin for agatha that turns their armor black. black armor is typically what you only see with mason skins.

Yeah but in a way, maybe HE should make the decisions not to wear enemy colors, if he doesnt want to be teamkilled. Seems downright logical to me. So dont feel too bad.

But yes, the source of the problem is definitly whoever decided to sell those skins, that I agree.

a lot of them. the worst is the one where they cover all their teamcolor with a thick leather apron & wear a plague mask so their entire character is, the one color both teams could be & they blend in with the ground. but its hard to show from the outside as a non-cheater because most of them are DLCs or battlepass content & the battlepass viewer doesnt put the teamcolor or which team a skin is for on a lot of them, and the ones you have in your customization tab can't be combined without unlocking them.
One I'm looking at tho is the faedrid's aegis for the agatha knight, on which the largest, most solid & most brightly colored patch of color on the skin, esp when viewed from the side, is orange, with a (orange) copper crown. on a blue-team skin

oh then why teamcolor the skins at all? this isnt an argument in defense of the bad skins, this is an argument in favor of just making the whole game teamcolor-less. why arent u arguing for that in your own posts? bc u dont actually believe it -- you just like that you bought an unfair gameplay advantage & are here arguing cuz ur scared ur money will be wasted if the devs fix their game

give me an example of “bought an unfair gameplay advantage” , in my experience there are no “pay to win” skins or team colours, im lvl 72 and im mostly dominating in a match. there are no advantage at all regarding to skins or teamcolours, the only teamcolours that is out of place is the royal fish heraldy and 2 colour from reclamation pass. thats all, there is something wrong with your vision if you can’t distinguish enemy or friends. the only time i can’t recognize friend or enemy is when theyre burning. thats all, and that makes perfect sense.
