Pros and cons over Mordhau?

What do you like/dislike about both?

I prefer Chivaly, but Mordhau has SP, and so that wins me over being i've gotten out of mp games some years ago. Chivalry better combat. Mordhau has SP, Chivalry more fun in its core mechanics. Mordhau has SP lol.

I would say though that Mordhau is a better made game, while Chivalry has been broken, since launch.

I love the overrall cinematic feel and presentation that Chiv 2 just really nails. The matches feel epic like it's from a movie. The combat as well in Chiv 2 is better imo because weapons are more balanced, there are distinct classes, weapon special attacks, as well as the ability to counter-attack. Mordhau is just hard to get into with the super sweaty players one-shoting everybody with the maul. I don't like the the whole morph body-feint crap that separates the great players in there from the rest. In Chiv 2 you can be a badass warrior without the key component being to make your body model contort retardedly into baiting your opponent to parry.

Mordhau has HILARIOUS voice lines, and though Chiv 2 has good ones too I think Mordhau edges it out. Mordhau also has great character customization, a bit better than Chivalry. Mordhau does have some great looking maps as well. I love that is allows custom servers, a feature severely lacking in Chiv 2.

Mordhau has more indepth combat. Until you come across the mouse jank spammers. You know the ones that are moving like they are playing hula loops while attacking.
the community in Mordhau is a cesspit. Don't get me wrong there are nice peeps but the toxic players far outweigh the good.
Chivalry 2 is more easy to learn but hard to master.
Still not as indepth as mordhau but alot more fun in the long run.
Though the toxic players are starting to stick out more.

Archery is way, way, way way WAY more satisfying in chiv 2 and still not op or anything. It's just a LOT more fun. Chiv 2 maps are also about way better. Graphics are better etc.

Pros, its easy to learn and theres not as many animation abusers. Cons, literally everything else ranging from the speed that the devs pop content out, to the fact that theres been bugs that have been untouched since this game was released. Now they are demanding $15 every update because they decided battle passes would be a "neat" addition to the game..... The customization in mordhau is a million times better too with a more lively playerbase.

When I first launched the game it says the battle passes stay forever. If that's the case, they aren't "demanding" anything from you. If anything, I as a new player am very glad that they're adding optional content in exchange for supporting the developer monetarily. There's no downside unless you just want those things without having to pay for them, which is entitlement, especially when you falsely paint aforementioned new optional content as "demanding."

New update took nearly 5 months to produce and all we got from it was a map and a sword. The rest is cosmetics, of which is simply filler for a faction that had literally no cosmetics at al, which would be great if it wasnt frozen behind a $15 payment. If you really want every update to be a cosmetic battle pass, good for you but some of us are smarter than that lol heck, they still haven't fixed any of the bugs we've been pointing out for a year or two now. Sorry if asking for some quality control for a product we paid for as a consumer is "entitlement" lmao

I enjoy 1v1s in mordhau more (Yes I do feints and sweat while playing) than Chivalry 2. However, team objective mode is much more polish on Chivalry 2. Depends on what you enjoy more i guess.

Both worth the initial price. DLCs are trash on both imo.

it's not really entitlement. The devs are ungodly slow with everything.

Yo opino que los dos son buenos,pero que también los dos estan muy dejados en actualizaciónes de contenidos,cosa sencilla por ambas partes de solucionar,otra cosa es que lo hagan,o almenos mas constantes y generosas,Los graficos aunque no con tanta diferencia increible gana chivarly y en ambientacion por supuesto.Ahora va mi historia con los dos para que entiendan,empeze con mordhau y no mataba a 5 por partida,ahora puedo matar 60 pero es tedioso como han mencionado la gente pro,me hartado de recibir humillaciones de todo tipo hasta hacer que en general me respeten pero seguia sin sentirme comodo por la comunidad que tiene,en mi experiencia fue toxica por los jugadores tanto enemigos como los propios compañeros,expulsiones del servidor sin causas,por eso compre chivarly 2 y sinceramente ya no tengo ganas de jugar mordhau.Ah lo ultimo,aqui no me asustan los buenos jugadores que mas de uno ha venido bailandome y le invite a una copa,quizas no fue facil lo admito,hay gente dura..pero yo ya me siento como los mejores y no soy ni lvl 40 pero eso si,en este juego desde el principio yo ya venia de mucho mordhau y en dos dias aplicando practicamente las mismas leyes que en mordhau me hice un pro,jejeje,compra chivarly 2.Chauuu.
