I would say though that Mordhau is a better made game, while Chivalry has been broken, since launch.
Mordhau has HILARIOUS voice lines, and though Chiv 2 has good ones too I think Mordhau edges it out. Mordhau also has great character customization, a bit better than Chivalry. Mordhau does have some great looking maps as well. I love that is allows custom servers, a feature severely lacking in Chiv 2.
the community in Mordhau is a cesspit. Don't get me wrong there are nice peeps but the toxic players far outweigh the good.
Chivalry 2 is more easy to learn but hard to master.
Still not as indepth as mordhau but alot more fun in the long run.
Though the toxic players are starting to stick out more.
Mordhau has far better voice acting and customization (Except Chiv 1 voices are pretty great even though sound quality is terrible).
Mordhau just has too much cheese, jank, and meme sh1t going on. Chiv has a better team gameplay battle loop going on.
Both worth the initial price. DLCs are trash on both imo.
