I pray its not the same in this game as that would kill my desire to buy it.
I think every multiplayer game has those type of try hard no life players that focus too much they can't possibly have fun.
Chiv 2 is a very dumbed down version of it previous self with added gimmicks and a few whistles and bells added for good measure. It is prettier and the maps are better than Mordhau but that is honestly about it.
This game is far too noob friendly to play it seriously at any level but you will find some sweaty players.
The funniest thing is that TBS claimed the wanted to get rid of the spin-2-win mechanic and they literally added a special to the Nooblander sword that does exactly that. There is also an issue with crouching spin-2-win meta as well as you can still pull off a reverse overhead but no where near like Chiv 1.
Archers are still OP and not balanced so their solution is to limit them per match. There are plenty of other glaring issues if you played comp at any level but just turn your brain off and mash the LMB after holding parry and you are a superstar.
is it really that bad?
