Lower numbers than Mordhau already?

There's 1.4k players on Chiv 2 atm, as opposed to 2,5k in Mordhau. And that game has been out for over 3 years. Is Chiv 2 dying already? What went wrong?

i almost didn't buy this game because of all these people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the steam forums about how bad the balancing is how its a dead game how it's boring and the dev's aren't personally sending them love letters. then i remembered how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insufferable 90 percent of the people are who frequent these forums and bought it anyway. Guess what? it takes about 15 seconds to find a match.

Yea glad you decided to buy the game, it's a great game by all standards

Idk why they are being insufferable, perhaps an inate feeling deep within for the need to complain perhaps a bit of "karen" in them even

instead of learning the game, acknowledge its casual nature (there is no ranked mode)

they believe that by tweaking and meddling with the game that it is somehow going to fix all of their problems, when it is people themselves that is switching teams, meddling with game files ain't gonna do sh***t except artifically make the game a "puppet" hey why play the game when the tweaks can do the playing for you.

it really bottles down to hardcores not being able to take a defeat with dignity, their world crumbles and you know winning or losing is all that matters to them

No regard for the nature itself of the game, the incredible orchestrated battle music that just shouts out loud EPIC!!

No regards for the stunning visuals or the awesome feeling of battlecrying and get into the feel of the game, get that Roleplay

yea no its just about winning and god forbid losing, seriously why they dont just move on to Pong or Tetris? or something. I will never understand how some can disregard the art of video games today

You can keep arguing that the "charts are wrong", but NA west queue for 40 man matches takes over 10 minutes, and usually the game only has 20 people in it as well as taking 4 round or so to fill up. Chart accuracy or no, there are NOT many people playing this anymore.

Nobody is being insufferable but those of you pretending nothing is wrong. THAT is sad.

It proves 60k played it a while ago, ON STEAM, and now we are down to 1k. Ya, its multi platform, and more than 1k are playing because of this, BUT it proves the player numbers drop like crazy because the game doesnt keep ppl entertained enough.

60k on Steam? Nope. Your figure is approximately 350% more than the actual max concurrent player count which happened at launch because everyone was playing at the same time.
