The updated Nitro Nation VR demo is now available!

We've added a version from our multiplayer playtest as a public demo so you can play it anytime you want, and we've also made some improvements based on your feedback, thank you for that!

What's new in the demo:

🏜️ Conquer the Mirage of Rage desert track
☔ Feel the rain on Velocity Bay city track
🔧 Use the Air Compressor for tire pressure control
🏎️ Meet a new car in the revamped garage
📈 Enjoy race progression
🏁 Defeat your friends in multiplayer races

We're grateful for the fantastic turnout at our previous playtest event and want to keep the excitement going by hosting another one!

To participate, make sure you have Nitro Nation VR Demo installed in your Steam library and join our Discord server[discord.gg]. We'll be hosting the event in the multiplayer lobby, so be sure to arrive on time and ready to race.

During the event, you'll have the opportunity to chat with the developers, ask questions about the game, and compete for bragging rights as the fastest racer on the track.

Feedback from testing

I'm liking how this game feels so early on in development, it's off to a great start. I'm using a Rift s and the controls were a bit weird with the throttle being the right thumbstick and after launching it's just auto throttle? I can see why you did the triggers as gears as thats closer to how it is IRL with paddle shifting but it would be better to have right trigger throttle, and left trigger brake with the other buttons each side for gear up/down and nitrous, or add in the ability to customise it. WMR support?

Any chance for WMR support? Right now when launching the game it appears i'm floating above expected start area (no option in Steam VR menu to reset seated position, which can be seen in other games) and the hands don't move when I move my controllers. Would love to check this out, especially if you later choose to add wheel support....

Who is the game made by? NNVR is developed by CM Games. So far the dev team consists of 5 people. What are your plans for the near future?
