You apparently can't read that person's reply correctly because they were suggesting the Riot game would have Chinese spyware considering Riot is 100% owned by Tencent. Tencent is known to be heavily involved with the CCP, and Tencet has failed antimalware tests and was caught cheating.

SO, Tencent basically does have spyware.. All of this is easily found on Google. Maybe if you weren't such an ass pirate, you wouldn't sound so goofy when talking.
the reason for cancelling was likely not even this game. if there is an official statement saying thats why it was cancelled, it is likely just an excuse, riot games was probably ready to shut down their project regardless and that would be such an easy thing to say.
Now show the "chinese spyware" in Riot games.
then you don't understand Cost Benefit Analysis, which is a core concept of running any business. Here, I'll try to break it down in a way you understand.
for example, walmart spends millions of dollars every year simply researching where the best locations are to build new walmart locations. In this millions if research spent every year, they research how successful their competitors are in different locations.
If a target closes down in a certain city, do you think walmart will decide to spend a ton of money and time to build a walmart in that city where target failed? Or will they put their resources to better use based on given industry and market information?
In their calculus, it would cost MORE to do that thing than they would reasonably make from doing that thing, and money being the end all be all in their minds, if it won't make them their money they want, it is NOT worth it. makes sense when you break it down.
Tencent owns Riot and therefore LoL. The application is it's spyware. Every message you type or play you make is harvested and used by Chinese sociologist.
Players are dying for a strong platform fighter besides smash, and the initial numbers this game saw was a very clear indicator the market is interested, but gaming today is in a weird place, before devs and also producers would get into the industry because they loved it. Now especially producers, get in because they have dollar signs in their eyes, looking to make a buck off of existing ips and leaning heavily on that instead of coming up with something that's either good or new.
Its sort of the problem with gaming as a whole, but its really sad to see the dev team from riot call it quits, because I'm sure whatever they made would have turned out much better, and been much more successful than this one. I really hope if anyone over there is reading this that they reconsider, and also weigh in the success that rivals 2 is most likely going to have later this year, as that is a game made by passionate devs (and using their own ip's)
