Why is my character movement choppy and how do I fix it?

Hey everyone,

Thanks for playing Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales! We have seen some reports about 'choppy' or 'lagging' character movement or 'stutter' and 'low frame rate' for the player character.

This is an intentional and optional effect that is applied to the game when you equip the Vibe the Verse Suit Mod, that comes with the Spider-Verse Suit. This suit mod alters Miles's frame rate movements to match that of the film.

You can disable this effect by making sure the Vibe the Verse Suit Mod is not equipped. You can do so by going to the Suit Menu and then Suit Mods. Keep in mind that this effect is applied to all suits when the mod is equipped.

This option is stuck for me. Ive switced out the suit mod a dozen times. Its glitched. I played through a campaign section and it still remained. This sucks.

Is it just me or is In To the Spider-verse suit animated in 24fps while the rest of the scene is 60?

Not just you. I switched into that costume today and suddenly Spidey was all jerky and whack; but when I switched back to the normal suit, the same jerkiness stuck. I can't get it to go away now.

this started happening as soon as i changed suits.. during the prologue? the game was fine but now spidermans animations are so laggy and choppy. ima try and restart my game rq.. hopefully that fixes it

okay restarting the game did fix it.. thank god, that ♥♥♥♥ was so weird

If you have the spider verse suit equipped this happens. Its a game feature.

yeah i figured that ♥♥♥♥ out.. it looks bad i cant even cap.. i really thought that ♥♥♥♥ was a glitch lmfaoooo

You can also still equip the suit but unequip the "suit mod" that makes it low framerate.

I want to adjust to play on the computer better. Not comparable to PS5 in terms of graphics in each scene of the game. So that people with weak computers will have the opportunity to experience some games

So, actually I noticed how later on, when doing story missions, Miles movement looked like 8 axis instead of 360, and of course,"bugged" animations, as if I was using the moddifier. Default suit, no suit mod, 60fps the entire game. After finishing an arc and going back to the city, everything was fine.

after the update, the textures of the costumes began to disappear and in the characters tab, as if everything was black, does anyone know what's going on?

Into the Spiderverse Suit Problem

Edit : NVM I read the pinned discussions afterwards and found the reason why it was doing it.
FIXED!

Anyone use the Into the Spiderverse suit and when switching back, the same animation stays stuck with every suit ? Cannot seem to go away after switching suits or even after a restart.
When I say the same animation, I mean the animation for the suit for into the Spiderverse with its Movie animation.

Hi so i just bought this game everything was working fine untill i finished the first missions or mission then all of a suddin charecters movement is kinda laggy is i say it so sorry im not so good on pc but when i play the spider man game 1 i have no issuses ..
