The voice work for Miles is extremely annoying.

I have both Spiderman games on the PS5 and I double dipped on the 1st one to get the insane raytracing and 60fps+ performance but this game, the Miles one, I couldn't even get through 25% of it.

Miles has a nasal high pitched voice that is prime for locker stuffing even in 2022. Every cutscene that appeared with his talking I immediately wanted to skip. It's almost as if it was intentional to over-nerdify him to clamp down on some of the push back of him being black.

Meh I could deal with it but it is pretty nasally. I would have preferred if the voice actor from into the spiderverse had did the game version of miles as well. Though technically this is a alternate realty and there were/are planning on having it show up in the next spiderverse movies.

I have not tried the VO.
But concerning the French version, Peter Parker's voice actor is quite well known among us for dubbing a lot of things.

It's that the voice actor of Peter Parker also does the voice of Simon Krieger but even sadder the voice of several enemies too.

Lack of budget? I do not think so.

It seemed overdone in the beginning but it gets better as it goes on. The whole story is about him increasing his own confidence and growing into the role. Shame that it was too bothersome for some, the voice, because its a fun, tight game. I really enjoyed it and enjoyed the character and the updated take on dorky teen with super powers. And they didnt kill off the OG to make room for this one. So all in all they did a good job on this even if that pip squeak voice might be a little grating at first.

It is annoying but I somewhat got use to it since I really enjoy the game (more so than the remastered original). Not saying its a bad game but the original just seems bland to me now that I am playing a spider-man with more powers.

Voice acting in english is nice for Miles (I dislike the french Voice for him btw) his young, and his voice feel young, I have no problem with that.

D'une part une histoire de budget, mais surtout du cercle très fermé de la profession de doublage en France.
Tout du moins pour le JV, c'est encore et toujours les même qui doublent plusieurs perso...
Je comprend que comme ce n'est pas aussi bien payé que des acteurs, ils veulent faire un max de perf Voice acting.... Mais le résultat est généralement déplorable pour le joueur FR...

Fais comme moi, passes tout tes jeux en VOstFR tu y gagneras largement...

There IS a female Wolverine. Her name is X23, and she's been a part of Marvel comics for quite some time. She's a female "clone" of Wolvie. Her character is fantastic because she's an emotionless killing machine who escaped the Weapon X program. She's also got a toe-claw. Fights with capoeira style (to use both her hand claws and toe claw) instead of the feral stuff Logan uses, so she's a blender of death.

the only thing that bothered me about the spanish speaking is that her and miles will sometimes say "te quiero" which somehow means "i love you" but in my language, that's very similar to spanish, it means "i want you" which is just f*cking weird to see mom/son saying it to each other
