Yeah, I think the performance degradation issue is due to using a CPU with more than 8 cores with Hyper-Threading On. Turning off Hyper-Threading actually fixed the issue but I don't think that's a solution to it since we need it for our daily task and turning it off is such a hassle to go through BIOS.

Appreciate the regular patches - but by now I was really hoping to see at least acknowledgement of the Hyper threading performance issues - this must have been reported several times by now - a quick google search shows loads of articles advising to disable hyper threading just for this specific game - which is a pain.

This is a big update indeed. Big as in file size, but I don't mean that in a negative way. It just goes to show how much effort is being put into making a clean experience.

it's just another irrelevant update, it doesn't fix any of the major issues the game has since it was released, like performance degradation, cpu hyper-threading issue and the pop up of shadows in Amd Gpus.

Still no cpu fix, At this point I don't think they fix the problem with the weird cpu usage and framedrops when swinging or jumping from the highest point.

No hyperthread mention? This port is starting to lose its reputation slowly but surely. Nixxes is starting to drop the ball, kind of disappointed. Might have to take back the positive review.

I never played this game before until it came on PC. I really love it and put over 100 hours into it, I think it may be my number 1 most played game(well, some games I probably put more hours on but had it on another launcher, like Doom Eternal, before getting it on steam).

But I would like to play this game at it's best performance before I stop playing it.

Great PC port, and the modding community is helping the replay value.

DLSS 3.0 coming?

I am not able to download mods anymore with this new update. I'm not exactly sure why but any time I try to add something the game basically breaks. Anyone have a solution?

Spider-Man is shown in the Digital Foundry teaser video from today for DLSS 3.0 so it's a safe bet.

i have the nvidia gpu problem with laptop and i start the game to see if its fixed i played for the first time the game was running great and when i bit the first boss i turn of my laptop after 2 hours i open it again it to play and i had the same problem with the 10 fps

I have the same performance degradation that was mentioned in the patch notes. After about 2hours of gameplay the frame rate when swining around the city is below 20fps.

Also have a "freeze" bug during the chemical leak mission.

Can you tell your pc specs? This might help identifying the issue. I dont experience it,

I just finished the game today, Story-mode,DLC,side missions. Great game, Now port Sackboy's Big Adventure over, that game is awesome. It needs a PC port.
