FINALLY! This update fixed the high temperatures my Core i5 9600k and RTX 2080 had.

It was so absurd that, even with water cooler, my processor reached almost 90º, something never seen in any other game. Just found out using MSI Afterburner and Riva Turner.

However the FPS drops below 60fps

I'm still getting stuttering every ~5 seconds after about 10-20 minutes of gameplay. Only way to fix it is to relaunch the game, making it unplayable.

RTX 3080, 16gb RAM, Ryzen 7 5800x, NVME SSD. This is with raytracing on.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the stutter to not reappear after just a little bit of gameplay. I simply cannot enjoy the game like this. I've tried everything - even reset Windows and reinstalled graphics drivers (uninstalled via DDU).

Can someone please tell me if this is just a common issue right now or is it my system? And is this going to be worked on?

Don't know if you've tried this but I'd suggest you turn everything down to minimum settings wise, see if it's still stuttering, then switch things back on one by one until you get the stuttering again. It's a bit time consuming, but that normally isolates the problems for me if I have issues with a game. At least that'll tell you where the problem is coming from and you can work from there.

I've done a little bit of that, yeah. Also, before this patch, I noticed that my RAM usage would gradually increase until it hit max and then the stuttering would occur. I am not sure if this patch fixed that, but the stuttering remains, so not sure what to do about that.

I turned off raytracing in the previous patch, and that might've fixed the stutter problem, but I refuse to play with raytracing off as this is why I got an RTX GPU in the first place. And I am not sure if turning off raytracing fixes the problem, but I did notice my RAM usage flatlining instead of climbing, which is... something.

But again, even with this patch, the stuttering remains and I'm just kinda at a loss. And 16 gigs of RAM should be plenty. On a fresh Windows install, no less
So earlier today I played Spider-man Miles Morales for about 4 hours straight no lag no crash waiting for an update to Spidey as it was causing memory problems. Saw the patch! Got excited! Uninstalled Miles to reinstall Spidey in hopes it will work like it did before your last patch.

50% through installing comp crashes because of memory issues. Restart.
62% through comp crashes again. Uninstall. Reinstall Miles.

Something you guys did in that patch where you patched both Miles and Spider-Man in the same day broke Spidey for me. It broke Miles too but that was short lived as it was fixed in the next patch. I can play SM:MM for hours and hours and hours with no texture problems or crashing. I cannot play the first Spider-man without getting buffering as it loads textures or just Blue Screens of Death as it screws my memory. Maybe you can ask for help from the SM:MM team?
Glad to see us finally getting Returnal and The Last of Us confirmed for pc. Waiting on Ghost of Tsushima though. I want to go Kill Bill on some fools.
After the patch I kept getting "calls" from task master the one where he says "you can call me taskmaster". It would hang at the end and just show his face in the corner. Luckily I was almost at the end of my ng+ ultimate playthrough or I probably would have went insane.
Can we fix the issue of freezing while swinging through the city? For context, I have a AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3060, and this game is installed in a SSD... all of these are well above the recommended specs and I have turned the settings to very low and I still freeze while swinging through the city. It makes no difference if I am on very low or very high.
Is the crashing on auto-load/continue fixed? :(
Anyone else experiencing frequent crashing after the update?
Performance is the worst it's ever been. Has been since the last few ''patches''. Huge and frequent frame time spikes/stutters while moving through the open world. 5800h + 3080 + 32gb RAM. It's the only game on my machine that produces this issue. I'll never understand how people were singing this game praises for being an excellent console port. At it's core it relies WAY too heavily on the CPU. MY GPU is basically fast asleep playing this 4 year old game.

This patch finally fixed performance on my laptop with gtx 1060. The game went from unplayable to perfectly smooth.
I thought i was the only who's having the "Texture Loading" issue...but please fix this...it's really uncomfortable while playing
