Glad i read this, problem is Windows "Desktop Windows Manager" runs the 4090 at 99% usage with this on... sigh. Gotta love being an early adopter.
Windows 11 22H2?
Buy 4090 and then ask why. LOL
I don't use DLSS, instead I use DLAA and frame generation is welcome because it helps me keep FPS between 110 and 120 at 4k.
About the latency BS, take a look at this:

On top of that, who cares about increased latency in this game, this is not a PvP shooter.
GPU usage as % is relative to the current clock speed. When you're idle the GPU stays at very low speed and you may see high usage from some basic app.
If you use Wallpaper Engine you may observe the same thing: people are complaining that particular wallpapers cause high GPU utilization, but they don't realize that this happens only when the GPU clock stays at low speed.
If you see this at high clock speeds, there should be something wrong in your setup. I have been using Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the last 2 years with 0 issues (currently at Win11 22H2).
