Nvidia DSR not working
i recently turned on Nvidia DSR on my 1080p monitor to make it 1440p and it changed my life
games are looking greater than ever, and i have so much space on my desktop and applications

but Spider Man Remastered doesn't want to go above 1920×1080, in borderless fullscreen AND exclusive fullscreen, even though my desktop is in 2560×1440
i tried adding the following launch commands :
-width 2560 -height 1440 -window-mode exclusive
these commands work on other games (if those other games don't go above 1080p)

nothing works, it's very frustrating
any help or advice is greatly appreciated :^)

edit : i changed the "FullscreenHeight" and "FullscreenWidth" values in the registry to get 2560×1440, not working either

i5-7400 @3.3GHz
GTX 1070 8GB VRAM
16GB DDR4 RAM

For me I set DLDSR on at 1.78x, set the resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel to that, then the game allowed me to set it to that render resolution.(I am assuming you're using 20 series or newer)

Well it's the same thing really. Spiderman is one of those games that refuses to even show possible DSR resolutions unless the desktop is set to it.

So just go to Manage 3D settings->Global Settings tab->scroll down to DSR Factors->set DSR factors to your preferred res multiplier. THEN go to Change resolution in the NVIDIA control panel and change it to the DSR resolution, then that res should show up in Spiderman. Hope this works.

as i have explained, i use DSR to have more space on my desktop and applications, i have already done that. sadly, even borderless windowed fullscreen mode renders at 1080p for some weird reason.
the only workaroud i have found at the time is to use Lossless Scaling but it's not quite the result i'm looking for.

i can't set these settings, i said the resolution doesn't go above 1920×1080 either with borderless fullscreen or exclusive fullscreen
also i don't have DLSS/DLAA as i don't have a RTX, don't know if that's required to make it work but DSR works in other games, it doesn't make sense...

Are you using something else to use DSR? In another thread you mentioned using a custom res tool. Have you actually set DSR using the aforementioned method in the NVIDIA control panel?

It should work with exclusive fullscreen.

no i didn't, since the actual resolution i use is available in the Nvidia Control Panel
i only mentionned the tool because i used it to add another resolution scale to test things, which i have deleted since
maybe it messed something up, idk, but i kinda thought it would be the issue so i reset my settings

well, it does not
in any game, that is
i can play games at 1440p in borderless fullscreen, but none of my games do that in exculsive fullscreen, unless i type
-width 2560 -height 1440
in the Steam launch options or in the desktop shortcut properties
Spider-Man Remastered does not recognize these commands
