at a higher FPS rate than any base ps4 could too
Yes, I also can't wait to take this gorgeous game and play it on a pathetic dinky screen that doesn't do the visuals justice at all. Brilliant idea.
>it's steam on-the-go? kind of obvious
Yes, but OP doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Have you weirdos even looked at games side by side with the switch just as an example? Take a look at what the witcher 3 looks like running on the switch - then look at it running on the deck...... It is literally staggering how good the deck looks and runs.
not only that, its shining a great light on Linux and making gaming on Linux better.
I donno, in my mind I see the typical "pc gamer" the people who are interested in cool hardware as well as the ability to tinker and learn cool new ways to game and do stuff that isn't a locked down system like a console... but instead you just have a ton of closed minded morons who look at it and are like uhhh its not as powerful as a 3080, its pathetic. smh
The steam deck has a freaking ryzen 2 4 core 8 thread CPU and RDNA2 graphics along with DDR5. The thing is an absolute beast and so damn cool for hardware nerds.. What they have been able to pack into the thing is incredible... Then you've got the touch screen, haptics, FULL size analog sticks, 2x extra L and R buttons on the back... Full bluetooth support out of the box, A FULL Linux desktop underneath to do ANY tinkering you could ever want.
what the hell are you even talking about? the Deck is by far the most powerful handheld that has ever released up until this point. And for a fraction of the cost.
There are now next gen ones coming with RDNA2 graphics etc, but before the steam deck the most powerful hand helds were still running Vega graphics and were easily double the price + of the deck.
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate ppl that talk out of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Theres 3 price points. hop on over the steam deck page on steam. it starts at $399 I believe.
This post only exists because of all the crying that it was coming to steam.
That has to be the most fanboy post ever
