xbox controller lag?

im experiencing some controller lag.
for example looking around using right stick, it sometimes keeps spinning
or i try to sneak up on someone, my guy keeps running
any fixes?

if youre talking about ingame controller settings menu, i cant find that kind of a thing

Right-Click game. Properties>Controller. Click the drop down menu on the right.
