how to change buttons on controller (xbox controller)

does anyone know how to edit the buttons on the controller?
i am just playing the arkham series again and dodging is Y and in this spiderman game for some weird reason is B (playing on xbox controller)

You don't do it in game. On your steam library page is a tab near the top/middle that says Controller Configuration. You start with the default developer layout, but I think you can change it and save it for yourself. I don't know how it affects button prompts or anything else in game like menus, but try it there and see.

It changes the button prompts as you would expect and want it to, too.
