Found a way to Copy save files

Let me preface this by saying I have NO IDEA how this works, so I'l just describe what happened. So I have a 100% file I used to access the Ultimate difficulty, so Files 1 and 2 are taken, with File 2 being my main file.

From what I can remember, I had versions of these files saved in the cloud, so Slot 0 and slot 1 were in the cloud, as well as manual saves and userprefs. I also manually back up all my saves, but by mistake I copied the backups and overwrote the actual saves. I believe at this point the cloud was turned off, since the saves in the cloud were from an earlier point in the game (thankfully not too far back), and I had deleted Slot 0.

Since Slot 0 was gone, I had a mini heart attack seeing the difficulty select upon booting the game, so I decided to get my cloud files, and I replaced Slot 1 and also put in Slot 0, and what happened was I now for some reason had both Slot 0 and Slot 1, except now they were both identical, with Slot 0 being a copy of an earlier point in Slot 1.

All this may sound confusing, and may not *100%* be accurate, but trust me I was just as confused. If someone out there wants to try and replicate this that would be awesome

I use Recuva for data recovery. If you haven't installed it, make sure it's installed on a different drive than the one you are recovering files from. It also works on SSD. And it's free as well. But the longer you wait, the more unlikely recovery will be.

Wish someone told me this before I beat the game a second time 😅 I did the same thing
