Game crashes on launch due to "lack of video memory"
Yesterday I could play Spiderman Remastered on my PC with no problem:

RTX 3080ti
32GB RAM
Intel Core i5-12600K 3.70 GHz

Today though, the game crashes at launch no matter what troubleshooting combinations I try. I have tried turning graphic settings down to very low, and made sure ray tracing is off, and it's still the same message: Screenshot here: https://postimg.cc/Jy6mJgGM

"This game has crashed due to using more video memory than currently available on this PC. Please try lowering your graphic settings, lowering your resolution and closing any unnecessary background applications before running the game again"

As I say, yesterday it worked with settings at 'high', today nothing makes the game load up. This is a legit paid for version through Steam. Are there any solutions floating around yet? Many thanks.

This error can occur on systems with high-end hardware, when the Windows page file does not offer enough space to allocate VRAM budget. We recommend letting Windows automatically manage the virtual memory size.

How to: Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type sysdm.cpl and press enter. Go to the Advanced tab and press Settings under the Performance section. Press the Advanced tab in the Performance Options window. Under Virtual memory, press Change. Tick the box for Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

Doublecheck the above ^ and then reboot your PC in case some Windows or driver updates as they may sometimes break VRAM readouts without rebooting.

Changing the virtual memory paging setting as a instructed above, then rebooting my PC, fixed the issue for me. Many thanks for replying with solution, it's much appreciated. The game looks incredible.

With a 3080ti definitely go for Very High, any lower and you're CPU bound.
