Can't keep 3080/10850k at 60fps.

No idea what is going on tbh, i watched Digital Foundry video and i turn settings down lower than he even recommended for my kind of build and im still dipping under 60 sometimes in the 40s. Makes no sense at all.

To other 3080 owners, what settings are you using? Im playing at 4k.

windows 11? make sure the game is high performance in the game mode graphics setting. otherwise update or try different drivers.

Max settings? Pretty sure a 3080 won't remain above 60fps. I think you need a 3090 for that at 4K.

I have RT on high, shadow on high, and a few others on high rather than very high.

It's not stuck, turn off Dynamic Resolution scaling, and the option for upscaling quality will unlock.

I think that's normal. This guy is rocking a 3080 Ti and using Very High RT dips into the 40's.

You could also be running into a CPU bottleneck. I have a 9900K and sometimes see my CPU usage maxed out on all cores with Very High RT/3440x1440. You're at 4K but I don't think what you're experiencing is abnormal. 40-65fps with a 3080 with RT on seems plausible.

You need DLSS.

Dumb question, but did you update drivers? If you have, other metrics would be nice to know. Like is your CPU boosting at all, your GPU capped at a certain usage percentage, etc. Also assuming you turned off RT as well.

It might be early to say, but is 4K with RT too much for the 10GB of VRAM on the card? Someone else may have to check that. Nvidia sure is generous.

I have a RTX 3070 and r7 3700x and i drop to 30 to 40 fps during free roam even with raytracing off these drops happen

running a 3080 from palit with a i9-12900f, 1920x1080 at 144fps locked with raytracing enabled, try that.

Running evga 3080 10GB, 12400, 32GB ram.....4k,60 fps,RT on Very high. Everything maxed, motion blur off. DLSS on Quality. Way better than I thought it was going to be. Very smooth so far. 1440p with RT on and DLSS GPU usage was 45-70%. 4K and RT on and DLSS on 85-100%. Still very smooth. Only 1 hour into the game. I lock 60fps in the Nvidia control panel. Use DLSS.

10900K Rtx 3080 here, max settings DLAA 4K getting ~80-110 fps. Rtx on ~40-65. Plz keep Rtx off it’s not worth the performance hit to your cpu

I turned on DLSS on quality, and i am still getting drops. This port is trash, want a refund, but already passed 2 hours. Won't talk good about Nixxes anymore.
