Framerate worse over time.
Got an RTX 3080 TI and a Ryzen 7 5800x. Runs fine at first, but around a half hour of gameplay later, the game starts to become wildly unstable especially with RT on. Framedrops and frame pacing issues galore.

I have exaclty the same problem. For the first 1h maybe it runs really smooth, but after that performance keeps going down.

Same thing here.

Same thing played over 2 hours the first hour all good but then it started drop fps like crazy

Solid 60fps for first couple of hours, frames dipping down to 50-54 every 10-15 seconds after. Restarting the game or turning off RT seems to fix the issue

5900X
6800XT
32gb ram

Can I have your PC then, pretty please?

Same here, started noticing stutter swinging around the city after 30-45 mins of play. Restarting puts it back to normal, but it looks like the problem will keep coming back.

Ryzen 5950x, 64GB, RTX3090

Memory leak. It's a common thing when new games are released. I guess the only way is to wait for new patch.

No thats not a common thing, u are just a sheep who accepts this uncceptable things, games always should be working fine before they release it, but they prefer to release on a date to sell alot of copys.

It literally is a common thing. You can QA a game for hours and not have an issue / not notice it (like me) then others can have an issue. The game is working fine, but like all games , there will need to be patches since everyones system is different, and different hardware and configurations.

Memory leak is certainly a possibility, but far from the only thing that could cause this. As others have said the hardware ray tracing implementation may be responsible (I've been using it at the "High" preset). I'll turn on some monitoring next time I play and see if I notice anything interesting.

I noticed this too in the footage I recorded for my benchmark. I have a RTX 3060 and 64 BG RAM. CPU and RAM was fine. But noticed a HUGE spike in GPU usage about 30 min, to 1 hour in. Like 60 to 70% usage all the way up to 90%.

This is the exact issue that has been happening but it seems to be when Ray Tracing is on. Even when you are hitting your target FPS (mine is 120) after about an hour, diving into the streets starts to drop frames down to 15-20 fps. Wonder what the issue could be.

let me tell you what the actual problem is , devs do not know how to program for dx12 memory managment yet and rt effects are heavy on memory so when its not allocating correctly due to how the api is designed these devs act like its dx11 and it auto does it for them so they half ass the code every game in the last 2 years with ray tracing has had this issue , sounds like microsoft and nvidia need to add a new api extention to handle memory for devs cause their publishers wont give them the time required to fix this stuff.

Yeah this is exactly how it behaves for me as well, restarting the game clears up the issue for around 2 hours max, then it starts happening again.

Specs: RTX 3090, i7 9700k, 32GB ram. game is on an ssd.
