No Audio (Voices, Enviroment)

Anyone else who has the problem after starting the game for the second/third time that the only things that are playing are music and HUD noises? I have no voices and no sound of the enviroment at all. I have subtitles but I can hear nothing.

Same problem, in the end it was a problem with the audio channels of my steelseries artics 7 I changed the channel from "game" to "chat" and the dialogues are already heard

I switched from headphones to audio and I still have the problem. Guessing the game just doesn't like my sound card. Hopefully they patch this soon because I'm not going to play it with half the sounds muted.

I got this problem too. I can play with headphones if I switch to "chat" on my arctis 7. But if I try to play using speakers, no dialogue or anything, just music plays...

What does it do if your audio source is Arctis 7 Game? Having the same problem my self when its set to Arctis 7 Game or speakers.

I downloaded a differend language on Steam, used it, switched back to English, worked again.

Use Audio Mono, it worked for me.

2023, problem still exists. Z690-rog strix mobo, i9 12900kf, built in realtek audio driver up to date.

Try the different Language, assuming you alraedy tried reinstalling, cause that fixed it for me for good back when I had the issue.

Solved it, go in game settings in steam and disable controller support. If a controller is attached at any point, the audio will route to the controller, the only way to disable it, is to disable controller support in steam, just for this game. If you need more info, let me know, ill add more info.

Thanks for the suggestion, realized this idea after i read in another forum, the controller will route audio to it, if it has the capability! Happy i can swing now and hear the police reports! It's a Christmas miracle on my street!🎄🎊🇨🇽🧑‍🎄🎅🤶
