Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

View Stats:
5 - 10 FPS (unplayable)
RTX 2060, 16 GB RAM, i7-9750H @ 2.60GHz... And I get like 5 - 10 FPS 😅

I think I've tried everything: reinstalling drivers, restarting, turning off Xbox controller, full screen, windowed, v-sync, turning on/off raytracing. It doesn't seem to matter if I have 1024x768 or 1080p, low or super high quality. Always 5 - 10 FPS.

Make sure that you are running the game with the RTX 2060, not Intel UHD 630 CPU graphic.

The thing is I don't have a laptop, so I don't think I have a CPU card?

I've got the exact same problem, I reinstalled the game, drivers, updated directx, launched the game as administrator, put it in low resolution etc... it runs the same way in very high 1080p as it does in very low 600p

Almost sounds like the game is running on your integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU instead of your 2060.

Is your HDMI/DP cable plugged into your motherboard and not your GPU at the back?

there is no way with this card to run with this fps , maybe remove exclusive fullscreen and use only fullscreen option , turn on dlss or fsr 2.0 also did you update your drivers? there is new drivers from today specially for spider- man

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I usually get 60 - 70 FPS in the newest games I buy, so I am not sure if this is a "hardware failure".

Nvidia Geforce Experience cannot find the game in my Steam folder, so I suspect something is wrong with the software or something... Perhaps driver failure?

If this is an All-in-one or mini PC, this still can be a thing. Otherwise, how you would get a soldered laptop CPU into tower, unless is one of the chinese modified one?

Is an intel non-F SKU, meaning it has iGPU.
Also "H" stands for High Performance and this affix is only for mobile SKU, so it's either AIO or laptop (or embeddded).

You claim you're not on a laptop, but you're using a laptop CPU?

In NVIDIA Control Panel...

Configure Surround, PhysX -> Make sure physX settings is set to the gpu. Apply & Save. See if this helps. If it doesn't, when you go to settings in the game, does it show VRAM usage? If so, it should show 6GB of VRAM. If it's less, the game is trying to use your iGPU. Google on how to disable it.

You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game too. See if that helps.

I have 40+ FPS regardless of settings (Ultra high + raytrace or lowest settings) when looking on a wall with the 3rd person camera. But as soon as I look toward the street with the camera I get 5 - 8 FPS.

Couldn't see any VRAM usage settings, however, the card is 85 degrees C hot when playing, which is how much it usually is (edit: when playing games).

It seems like there is some kind of memory leak or something guys?

Im running at 140FPS. Temps are normal. Everything is running fine on my computer. Only adding info so people can figure out what the issue is and isnt.

Nvidia 3070 RTX
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 2280 for main drive
32GB of Ram
Run Now Aug 12, 2022 @ 2:00pm
I don't think NVIDIA has the info yet to optimize/use all the features of Experience yet hence it's not shown in games, I have the same thing but not the FPS issues on an old comp and can run on High or above.

Have you turned off Steam Overlay for the game through game properties?

I'm getting almost no difference in frame rates between Very Low settings and DLSS: Ultra Performance, and Very High and DLSS: Quality.

Always hovers around 45-60fps. Still playable, but the fact that FPS isn't affected by quality settings is weird. Have also updated to the latest Nvidia drivers.

RTX 3070
Core i9-9900K
16GB
SSD
