Severe frame drops with Ray Tracing on (High)?
I run the game on a 3080 Ti and it generally runs smooth 90% of the time, above 60 FPS, altough in some sequences like the beginning police cars chasing the framerate drops severely below 30 FPS. Am I the only?

EDIT: turned out to be the hideous AMD vs Windows 11 fTPM stuttering issue, my MoBo still have not received the BIOS update to fix that.

EDIT 2: as for overall poor performances while swinging (50-60 fps), it is CPU bottlenecking. People with my same setup but with a i9-12900K instead of R5 5600G get 10 FPS average more than me. So, yeah, a 3080 Ti is not enough to game 4K @60 fps in this case.

EDIT 3: disabling SMT (for AMD CPU) and HT (for Intel) helped a lot for me and other people.

3090, 5900x no drops with ray tracing on high. I'll keep playing and see if I get any.

Yup I had those frame drops in cutscenes too.

3070ti everything on max, RT on max and no issues or stutters or frame drops.

yep same for me with a 3080TI

Disable dynamic resolution if it's on. Also I'm assuming you're running DLSS? Don't expect to run RT w/o it.

Also it goes w/o saying but if you haven't, grab the game ready driver.

What CPU? I've got a 3070 Ti but with a Ryzen 5 3600 and worried about its RT capabilities lol

I've got a 3080 and im getting really bad frame drops as well with RT on high. Without RT it runs great

Dynamic res is OFF, DLSS is on Balanced. Latest game ready driver already installed.

ryzen 3700x and a 3080. with rt and dlss i have 50 to 60 (even drops of 4x)fps while swinging. not great.

I had that, i think once you will try to launch the game, do the graphical adjusts there instead of in game. if you use nvidia freestyle you will take a massive hit

In my case it turned out to be the CPU bottlenecking in some circumstances. Could be your case too, considering 3700X is the bare minimum for High RT 4K @60 fps.

Setting DLSS to Performance and lowering Crowd and Trafic density to Low made the situation better in my case.

i miss the resolution, my monitor is 1440 so there should't be a requierments problem

Turn off DLSS and DLAA, its not implemented correctly. Most people are seeing better performance without it.
