My DualSense controller disconnects after i get into the game (not menu) may b after 30s or so it just disconnects light in my controller turn off, after i quite the game , it again comes back after 5-10s its repeatable , not sure whats the problem.
is it my controller issue ??? (i tested it once with Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition it worked fine )
anybody with similar issue. ?
Note: Steam Inputs are disabled and overlay is also disabled
These situations include:
This is the case on PS5, PS4, Switch Pro, and Steam Controllers.
As a workaround I am switching the entire controller layout to emulating a keyboard and mouse during those times I am activating motion controls. It is a somewhat aesthetic change but best practice on PC is to include an option to lock button prompts to one input method or another, as it is I'm having prompts flash unhelpfully between keyboard and mouse prompts on the one hand and controller prompts on the other.
I could also just have used the JM presets, but that results in bad motion controls.
I appreciate that as a port the aim is to make the game playable on much the same basis as in the original while fulfilling typical requirements set by PC players, but it would be nice if user created motion controls were supported by having the Camera Movement function work as it should.
EDIT: It's a Steam beta thing, as discussed further down in the thread.
EDIT 2: Apparently it is not, it's just less obvious with some gyro activation methods than others. Going to the Steam stable branch did fix my newly developed question mark prompt problem though.
It does this with all 3 of my ps4 controllers, I've tried everything (steam input disabled, reinstalling drivers, other cables) and the problem isn't there in any other game. With the steam input enabled the problem disappear but I hate using this mode because it brings so much more problems I can't count (since it tries to emulate inputs).
Does someone have this issue too ?
I'm using Dualshock 4 via direct input bluetooth dongle (for faster reading) and the game still recognizes it as a Xbox One controller.
Would be nice to just let us choose what UIs to appear.
Follow these steps in the YouTube video. It works like a charm!!

Xbox One controller works flawlessly though.
One temporary fix that worked for me is to open the map when you have this bug and it seems to fix the problem, open and close the map each time you have trouble doing finishers.
Maybe it's an issue tied to the framerate ? Because it isn't there on ps4 at 30 fps, and there are other problems that seems to disappear in 60 fps.
I had the same issue just now. DualSenese was showing as blank in game. Right click on Spider-Man on your Steam Library, controllers tab, and disable steam input. It worked for me. Haptic feedback and icons started appearing again.
