Did this new update break the RTX cards?

I have a 3050 and for some reason my fps will randomly drop to 1 for no reason. I think its because of my GPU temp but im not exactly sure.

3080ti here, no issues. It's running better than it ever has. Why do you think it's your GPU temp? What temperatures are you seeing? What kind of fan profile are you using?

i mean well i've heard that the 3050 throttles around 70 degrees, but it might just be cause you have a 3080ti but what's weird is that before this update this game ran like butter with v sync on (helps me maintain fps) now im getting all these random drops in places where i don't usually get drops

might be the mods i have installed or something im not sure. but whenever i play this game the fps drops to the point where i can't even swing around for 5 minutes without the game freezing

Yes the recent updates broke the game for me on a 4090. Game stuttering like crazy.

I'm on a 4080, just played a session for the first time since the patch ....runs like butter.
At 1440p: 100+fps with small dips but no stutter , ray tracing on, high settings, DLAA and no DLSS. Frame generation on it's 200+fps with dips to like 170's to 180's. no stutter what so ever.
DLSS on strangely doesn't seem to do anything. Still the same 225fps ...200fps with dips to 170's and 180's. But stutter? None.

if anything just downgrade to the previous version. it fixed the freezes for the most part but still cant maintain fps. ♥♥♥♥ is so frustrating man. game ran like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ butter 4 days ago now all of a sudden it wants to drop frames and ♥♥♥♥

If going back to the previous version didn't make it perform like it did before for you, the problem is not the game. It's something on your system. Settings, drivers, maybe other things. I use EVGA PrecisionX, and after every update, it resets the max GPU power to 10%, and I get issues just like what you're experiencing until I manually set it back to 100%. Not saying it's PrecisionX in your case but it's definitely something on your system.

think i found a fix, turned to my application priority to high now it doesn't stutter anymore, only ever so often which im fine with.

Nvidia GPUs generally don't throttle unless the edge temp is over 83 degrees C. 70 should be fine.

Is it really just me with this issue. If you go to top left part of map check the graffiti logos, they are all flickering on every single building and i have sent my gpu off thinking its faulty.
