This game is amazing until the challenges which are just awful.
I just quit because of how infuriating screwball's combat challenge is but even the base game's challenges sucked combat wise. Throughout the game there is nothing putting a time limit on combat except for the challenges and I had to re-learn combat mid game because having fun and doing combos was too slow for the game's liking and it's really hard to get gold without cheesy gadget and move spamming. As for screwball's dlc challenges, I hate every single one of them because photobombs do nothing but slow down, if not break, the pace of gameplay and piss me off by exagerating the worst parts of screwballs personality. I dread playing the last two dlcs now, thinking about all the potentially awful challenges devs put in this game. This is supposed to comic book hero fun times not dumb ass game mechanic frustration times, whoever made the combat and photobomb challenges should re-evaluate their life choices because it's clear they suck at making them.

It's almost like challenges aren't required to beat the game.

They are required to make me satisfied.

Then try harder.

Honestly, I don't care what I have to do to get the challenges done. If I have to use suit powers or mods that completely cheese the encounters I will certainly use them. If I want to have fun doing combat, I will just do that in the regular game. The challenges DO suck, but they are just something to get done in the easiest/most efficient way possible. Trying to "challenge" yourself with them by doing combos is not the best way to do them.

My main issue is how off it feels from the rest of the game. I'm not a masochist I'm going to use the meta if I have to too.

Oh I agree. They are extremely poorly designed, low effort "content" that is just designed to pad the length of the game. They take the game up over 100 hours easily.

I didn't mind the base game's Taskmaster challenges. But Screwballs' annoying gimmick definitely sucked. The DLC in general just...kept reminding me about the old games where the unfun ♥♥♥♥ rears its head and the experience becomes exhausting.

You should tell your mum about it.
Screwballs challenges were a breeze. Taskmaster drone challenge are far harder.

Then again.. just don't do them. Stick to the story.

Drone challenges are not hard imo.

They are all lame. The game is great but it does have a whole bunch of arcade style challenges that are quite silly. But they are optional.

Heads up.. Screwball is back on the second DLC as well.

Yeah they really set her up to be recurring. At this point if it's annoying I'm just doing one and done and saying ♥♥♥♥ it. As for the drone challenges, I really like racing so that's why I enjoyed it.

As much as I don't like the challenges, I can't help myself but grind until I get gold on all of them.. which I did.. twice. On PS4 and now again on PC. lol I hate myself.

I know the feel, but unlike of PS4, you can at least hack in achievements lol. Spiderman is real good though, feels like Infamous to me I love it.

Yep, if it does get too much you can use a trainer that will give you the max score no matter how you actually perform in the challenge.

I really don't like doing that though. And I do admit, even though I hate the challenges, it was really satisfying to get gold on the ones I managed legit

Nah I don't care one bit about achievements. I don't go for 100% achievements.. I don't even look at them. I go for 100% in game completion. I need my save file to say 100% just for my own ego. Hacking or cheating would not satisfy me whatsoever. I got gold on all of them myself.. twice.
