Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Statistiche:
Best Controller to Use
Just out of curiosity, what do you guy think would be the best controller (in the categories of comfort and operation) to use for this game when it releases?
Xbox controller, or PS5 controller?
Messaggio originale di skippyyungboi:
Dualsense controllers are going to work the best. The adverts state that it will have adaptive trigger support when using using the dualsense.

I just have a question, why my PS5 controller cant charging while cable plugging to my PC, I always charge it again after one day playing

I don't know. I bought an official charging dock. It's possible that you just play with the PC cable and don't charge with it. Docks aren't that expensive.

Got my bluetooth dongle earlier. The Dualsense paired to it and was recognised correctly in Steam. Do bear in mind though that the Dualsense in Steam will only behave like a DS4. It is a wireless controller with rumble in Steam via bluetooth. You will ONLY get proper adaptive triggers and haptic feedback in games like Spider-Man Remastered if you connect the controler with a cable and turn off Steam Input.

(That's for the benefit of those that won't read the whole thread!)

i wonder if there is a way to get the dualsense features to work while wireless
there has to be some way right?
Not that I'm aware of. All the Sony games so far to have come to Steam all need you to plug the controller in and disable Steam Input. The controller may well work in game via bluetooth, but, it will behave like you'd connected a DS4. It's the same with Metro Exodus Enhanced, you have to go wired to get adaptive triggers.

Unless Sony produce their own bluetooth dongle that allows those functions, then it's cable till they do. There are rumours that Sony are going to make a Pro version of the Dualsense,
and I wouldn't put it past them to bundle a dongle with that like Microsoft did with the Xbox One pad, We will see.......

PS5 for features. It DOES have to be wired which is dumb, but for monitor play it isn't a big deal at least for me. I like the features on it a lot so it's well worth it at least for me.

Hopefully Sony either opens up the wireless capabilities or releases a wireless adapter for PC like they did for PS4 to get audio over wireless.
Wdym open up capabilities? I use my PS5 controller with my PC natively in games that support dualsense and it uses the Xbox interface for games that don't. Works perfectly on Bluetooth for me

Well, you might think you've been using it that way. However, as videos and game requirements have shown, you may not have been using it as Sony intended, Just because the controller works and vibrates, it doesn't mean that it was doing haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

If you have a cable, plug the controller in, turn off Steam Input for the PS5 ports you've been playing and see what differences you notice.

Sony has been like this since the DS4 of worrying about crappy blue tooth devices not being able to do all the features correctly at all times and I am sure we will see another official wireless adapter from them in the coming months or years. They may be working on an official PC driver/software that would probably fix most of these issues as well.
How popular was PSNow? That was what the last Sony USB dongle was developed for. If there is still a similar service they would more develop something for that. The PS5 has still to be their primary focus, so would developing something that could potentially cost them console sales be in their best interests!?

They don't care about console sales nearly as much as they used to. They care about software sales way more. They are putting their best console sellers on PC. They have also just released PC monitors with specs the PS5 can't support. So they are now like Microsoft and put as many games as they can on both home console and PC.
Hmm, in a ps game...what controller could be the best?
