And fps is horrendous. 3080 at 4k with ray tracing can drop into the 30s. dlss barely adds more than 8fps on average at thr "quality" setting

I had my doubts when I knew nixxes was working on this port. They can't code to save their lives. Every game they have worked on has had major performance issues on hardware relative to the time they were released.

Pre-ordering (which I'm kinda against but it's not my money lol) makes the game show up as owned next to your name in discussions

I heard in Skill Up's video that ray tracing performance and quality is being worked on still so hopefully that situation will improve in the future. I'm aiming for 60+ on a 3070 with RT so hopefully that's doable.

Uhhhh. Just don't use Ray Tracing until a patch comes out. Pretty sure the game runs silky smooth without iit.

God of War was a good port. I am pretty sure Sony knows that putting out a bad port would hurt their sales. So I have high hopes it will be a good port.

There was a 3rd patch this afternoon which improved the raytracing quality/performance.

Because at the same time another update was announced for August 10, which appeared at 14:00 and thus 3 hours before the NDA fell and once again turned the raytracing quality upside down, the article was paused for over a day.

god of war is severely cpu bound in many areas. plus any setting that goes above the ps4's "original" quality kills the fps. shadows and lod especially

I've played GoW on PC and I had exactly zero issues. The reviews are very positive.
