As for me, I've played it on the PS4 Pro, so I'm stoked to see if it looks any better, and most importantly, feels equally or more fun. Luckily it's easy to compare the PS4 Pro version on the second screen to what I'm playing.
In the other thread there was a guy complaining that they invest time to implement new features that only a tiny fraction of players can use. I looked it up (Steam Hardware Survey) and was surprised to see that roughly 25% of all gamers on Steam already have raytracing capable hardware.
Have a look at the most common cards on Steam. I marked all cards with raytracing capabilities:

These cards represent 61.7% of the total (I skipped everything below 1%). The marked ones add up to 23.34%.
And of course all those also support DLSS for a performance boost. So even the weaker ones like the 2060 will probably have decent performance.
I was talking about people who are even capable of maxing games. Which aren't a lot. So for many, they wont be able to match the PS5.. But it should still look very good nonetheless. I'm pretty certain I will be able to max the game on 1080p.
After an uncomfortable first 10 minutes when the framerate really bothered me, I forgot all about it and had an absolute blast all the way to the platinum.
I don't have a PS5. Hey, can you lend me the £500 for one? I promise you will never see the money again...
Never assume people can just "go and get the older game". Or do I need to point out that until about a few months ago, Sony literally couldn't produce enough to meet demand?
There's the point that the "original" technically is the PS4 version, but that's splitting hairs given the title switch from "Game of the Year" to "Remastered".
As for the mods, uh...They've modded the PS4 version, guys.
Yeah I already try PS5 version but I think after try Days Gone in PC vs PS5. The grahics really far from PS5 version.
PC version graphics much upgrade and smooth than PS5. I don't want play in PS5 because the performance really garbage
Public can see your profile but when you compare with Steam profile this make PSN Profile being garbage
This I want all my collection games in Steam, I can custom my profile layout and showoff my complicated achievements.
And I think in PC I feel yeah freedom than console LOL
