Game not showing in family shared library

Recently prepurchased spiderman remastered but it is not showing in library of the steam account with whom i am family sharing.Anybody knows why is this happening?

I don't think it is family shared enabled, not all games are.

But previous PlayStation games like god of war , horizon zero dawn supported family share

highly likely, few games doesnt have family sharing

and the majority that dont have it, have origin, rockstar launcher or ubisoft connect launchers

so the games that we all know will not have family sharing are the ones with other launchers.

and its common that it doesnt appear in the shared library with the preorder, on launch we all know for sure (99% it does have family share though in my opinion)

Yes only games which needs 3rd party launcher or account does not support family sharing
for eg. gta as it gets launched by rockstar launcher and farcry which gets launch by ubisoft connect launcher.But Sony games don't need any launcher they get launched directly from steam so it will show up when the game gets launched on 12th August.I got confirmation from steam support too so no worries :)

Yeah, so probably that then. Wouldn't make sense, if all of a sudden they decide not to do family sharing.

From my own experience, games that are not out do not show up in Family Share till they release.

Looking at SDB, they manually turned off family share. This game, even after release, will NOT be able to be family shared :(
