Plenty of single-player games that require an online connection nowadays. I don't think this is one of them though thanks to no Denuvo.

Uh, Denovo doesn't technically need an online connection, for the record, but given that this is a four year old PS4 game, you can probably safely say if there was an online feature, it would be covered and talked about elsewhere.

As it stands, I honestly doubt there's a need to panic about that.

Denuvo means no game preservation unless the corp removes it later on. It does require a ping to the internet at least once afaik.

Singleplayer game is no reason.
Hitman is also a single player game but necessarily needs a permanent Internet connection and always has time-limited content.

Just because this single player does not have online content or a permanent Internet forced connection does not apply to all single-player games.
