Old Face vs New Face (spoilers)

I've seen a lot of people explain why they don't like PS5 Peter's face.

>Looks significantly younger than MJ and Miles
>Stiffer facial expressions
>Bad fit for the VA performance

All I see from the other crowd is "I like it" and "I don't care, doesn't bother me", which is great for you, to each their own and all that. But I'm just curious if anybody could articulate what they actually like about the new Peter?

Could somebody link something that would show the face emoting better than the original? Because this video is really telling of how limited the new face is.

I personally prefer the PS4 one, based on what little I've seen, for the record. Just getting the official reason on paper.

Another thing that I found weird about the remaster is like the "smoothing". All the faces look a little too smooth. It could just be the resolution or something.

Well this thread was asking for different perspectives or some clips that would show the other face emoting better, and the 1st thread was because it's a fun topic to talk about.

I'm beyond aware that talking about the game in a Steam Discussion won't have any impact on the game. I just want to shoot the ♥♥♥♥ about the facial changes.

The 1st thread was an opinion, this one is asking for different perspectives and clips showcasing the "improved" face emoting better. I think they're fairly different even if they're both talking (crying, whinging, complaining lol) about the face.

Just wait for ppl to crack the files, and figure out how to import John's Model in, his model is already on the internet publicly so it should be pretty easy to do, that is once it's cracked and we know how lol

The reason sated "to match the actor" makes no sense, otherwise the first game would have released with the remastered face. there is no logic to matching the actor if the first model already matched perfectly and emoted all the facial expressions much better. Its a very strange move to completely redesign a face model and this must have been mandated by disney to better match tom holland, its strange that they never were honest about it tho.

pretty sure its personal preference of him looking nicer, i prefer PS4 version, some think he looks better in the PS5 version, just different taste in looks

"To better match the VA" is such a cop out excuse. It looks terrible. You cannot, objectively, compare scenes between the PS4 and the PS5 model and tell me that the PS5 model delivers the same quality and emotional depth.
Also, subjectively, it makes the entire point of making an "older Spider-Man" pointless when he looks 13.
