No Denuvo = No Buy

They are releasing one of the best exclusives on PC and not using the drm which prevents piracy day 1. I do want this game to sell better on PC and developers need all the support they can get.

If they will not use drm than pirates will this for free, without giving a damn penny to the developers who worked hard on this.

If there no Denuvo = No buy.

Why we pay and pirate play it for free?

Bait, I am guessing? Just a note for anyone actually taking this ♥♥♥♥ for real. A lot of people HATE denuvo since it bricked peoples PC's back in the day, so if anything adding it into a game will make people want to Pirate to avoid the Denuvo all together, cause they always bypass it. So yeah, either just bait or reaaaaaaally doesn't understand piracy on PC in general.

The fact he is attacking pirates, AND stating he won't support the game in the same breath though, leans me towards bait, so take this post mostly for anyone else thinking he may have a point somewhere.

How come it's satire? When I clearly said PC pirates download games for free, if forced drm they do eventually buy games, it was proven.

No, I am totally against Piracy. I do not want PC pirates to play this game for free. They must pay if they do want to play games.

Look Dying Light 2 uses drm and thos who pirated DL1 (no drm) actually bought DL2 because it used DRM.

If DRM is useless why publishers using them at first place?

Developers release a product, after that its your decision to buy it or not. In your case to pirate it or not.

They are unlikely to change the initial release scheme into something that might cause massive discontent and a series of refunds if influenced by media as people dont like DRM.

I mean I live in CIS country and it is still expensive yet I choose to purchase licensed products instead of straight up piracy which people were doing massively in 90-2000s

Denuvo gets stripped out of games quite often post launch, and get's bypassed quickly. The only reason Devs shove it in is to attempt to bump up there day one buys. Anyone not willing to spend the money still won't and will buy it after it gets patched out.

Now, for you, if Denuvo is so useful, and doesn't ruin software it is in. Why does almost every dev with it in their games remove it later with a patch? Also, if you are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worried about the devs getting their cash, (You hypocritcal liar) why you saying you won't buy it cause others MIGHT not buy it?

So you want to penalize paying customers by including software which is known to cause issues. Many games dont ship with DRM and they sell like hot cakes, just look at the previous sony entries, or even games like cyberpunk which had 1M+ players on steam day one, without any DRM.

People are gone crazy now a days. OP is the perfect example for it. He will not buy it, because some third country people who does not have a warm meal everday on the table. Can download this for free? OP is like now way!!!!!

Plot twist. People who pirate games. Are most likely never buy it anyways. Why? Because the price of a new AAA game is the half of they mothly salary.

They have a bad PC and will run @ Low, 720-480p probably with 15-20 FPS. But they actually will have fun with it nevertheless.
