Ray-Tracing Grayed-Out on a 3060 Ti
I have an NVIDIA 3060 TI and the option to turn on ray-tracing is grayed-out in the graphics menu (I can't select it to turn it off/on) I have been able to run ray-tracing on other games like Cyberpunk 2077. The game itself seems to run fine, though I haven't done any benchmarking yet. Has anyone else had this issue on their 30xx series?

Ray-tracing options are greyed out in the menu when hardware or drivers are not compatible. In rare cases, the ray-tracing options can be greyed out even if users have a compatible GPU. This occurs on some specific Windows versions, that lack support for Shader Model 6.6.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered for PC uses the DirectX Agility SDK, which requires Window 10 version 1909 (Build 18363) or newer. Some specific revisions of Windows 10 1909, 2004 and 20H2, do not have the DirectX Agility SDK that is needed to run the game. If you use Windows 1909, the revision number should exceed or be equal to .1350. For Windows 10 Version 2004 and 20H2, the revision number should exceed or be equal to .789.

You can find more information on DirectX Agility SDK and Windows 10 build numbers at the Microsoft DirectX Developer Blog: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/gettingstarted-dx12agility/#setup

In short: updating Windows should help.

Hello,
1) I have Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2. I have D3D12Core.dll in my System32 folder (which basically mean that my system indeed has received the Agility SDK-enabling loader change).
2) I also have Nvidia driver version 537.13 (I googled and found that any driver from 466.11 and above support Agility SDK).

Sorry for the re-opening of year-old thread, but i am clueless....
Could you please clarify why my ray tracing options are still grayed-out in game settings?
Kind regards
