changes immediately into his spider costume, tries to move into action. leaves the meal on the stove.
MJ: did you leave your clothes on the floor?
he goes back, gets his clothes and asks politely where to put them. -.-
after the tragic casting of sendayaya or whatever the f4uck here name is, we got this "imagination" of MJ for the game.
MJ thinks that Peter can be overprotective, which makes her feel useless, which makes her lash out against him. She's a journalist (investigative journalist at that), it's her job to go into dangerous situations and get the facts.
Peter wants her to be safe, but didn't think about how she'd feel when he's always saving her and basically preventing her from doing her job (because it involves danger).
MJ even apologizes to Peter for being rude to him. They have an honest conversation about this at that point. So I really don't understand the "toxic" part. The issue was lack of communication.
please, watch the movies again and tell me with a straight face that the movie version and the game version are in any way, shape or form similar.
movie MJ is supportive and tries hard to be successful in her on way by not taking part in any risky behavior and she is never annoying. you just feel that she truly cares about peter.
game MJ is mostly concerned about herself and no one else. consequences are nothing she has to think about. sad that you have to retry game sections with her when she gets caught.
wouldn't mind her needing spideys help when she gets captured. maybe then she would learn.
that's exactly what i think
You're making the same mistake as Peter.
Why can't she have a job that involves risk? Because Peter wouldn't like it? And why wouldn't she be upset when Peter keeps her from doing her job? Danger is part of her job.
She supports him, it's why she does research for him whenever he asks. Hell, some of the situations in which she's placing herself in harm's way are because she's supporting him.
You can support someone by accepting your weaknesses and playing the adult that's how it works in life she's not 14 I think...
Like the other guy, you're making the same mistakes as Peter.
no, i don't. i had my fair share of women in my life to know that being in peters shoes, i would run for the woods and find someone i can have a wholesome relationship with.
i hope the writers let him learn too and understand that. sadly they will not.
but speaking of mistakes:
i watched mad max because i wanted max to kick a4ss. what did i get instead? mad furiosa and a gun less, car less max.
i bought spiderman because i want to kick a4ss as spiderman seeing him struggle a little bit in his private life. i didn't buy the game to have his love interest running around trying to be a hero just because that is somehow "in" now.
i mean, if you for some reason like this abomination then i am happy for you but please don't try to convince us that this depiction of MJ is characteristic for her or good for peter.
btw: since when is MJ Lois Lane anyway?
too much experience in that department to make mistakes my friend. i am glad you continue giving me steam points. your arguments do net get better this way.
here is a "whoa" for you =)
that's me xD
if you want a strong female protagonist and it has to be MJ, then give her superpowers too. easy. make a whole dlc just about her and then everybody is happy.
she could be female spidergirl/woman. you could give her even her own game.
