SSAO HBAO

Hi, do you find which one is the prettiest activated, the SSAO or HBAO+?

Me I have the impression that these SSAO not? Yet it should be me HBAO+ I think.

I think that HBAO+ is supposed to be better (That's what geforce experience recommended)
but execution wise, yes. SSAO looks way better.

Have to agree with this, I don’t know if HBAO was even fixed because on paper and in practice HBAO should look better.

For me HBAO is missing some shadows, hence it makes the picture "brighter" and bland looking.

these exactly its the HBAO it looks like the shadows are almost missing. Normally HBAO is supposed to be better but by testing the 2 the SSAO wins I find. So we all saw the same :). After I saw that we made a small patch yesterday and they say that we improve the HBAO, I would have to test it again to see. After FPS level I don't know if it is more greedy than the SSAO.

I compared the two after the patch. I didn't do that before the patch so I don't know, if anything changed, but I know that it is still not as it is supposed to be.
I didn't check fps. I tested inside Fisk's auction house.

HBAO+ is still not fixed. Use SSAO until they fix it.

HBAO+ is certainly working now, (correctly or not) yet to me it just looks exactly like SSAO but a little brighter. The biggest difference is HBAO+ costs up to 7fps so I see no reason whatsoever to use it.
