"Dodge" for Keyboard users?

I'm using keyboard and mouse. I know dodge is L-CTRL. But this seems counter-intuitive (to me anyway) as there's A LOT of dodging and my left pinky just isn't as nimble I guess. I know you can double-tap a direction to dodge, but this doesn't always go so well when doing combos that require dodge.

Have any of you keyboard users remapped the dodge to something more useful or easier to use?

thumb mouse button, in every game for a long time.
