Question mark icons

Icons in game are showing question marks. Has been working fine for almost 20 hours of gameplay and suddenly crashes and this weird question mark icon issue.

Have validated files, updated nvidia driver as well as removed any reference to ds4 (haven't been using it still removed it).

Anyone got any ideas?

Update: Disabled Playstation Configuration Support in controller settings and it's now working.

I have the same issue and for some reason I tried everything and still getting the same issue just question marks where the icons should be and I have already had the duel sense stuff off from the get go using a Logitech F-310


I fixed it by going into Properties on steam and going to controller and disabling steam controller overlay I think it's what that is called and boom I see my icons again

I got this issue today after 32h of playtime so far.
I did try to disable SteamInput last night to fix another issue where it doesn't register finisher button combos or suit abilities.

After that it does no longer display icons correctly for me even when SteamInput is turned back on.
This game is an officially supported SteamInput title so it should check the controller type as you connect and pull the right icons from the steam service.. but it doesnt seem to be the case? weird for sure.

One part of the issue is that DS4 will not work wirelessly with BT if you have SteamInput turned off. Most of the time its a good feature, but this release has a few bugs sadly. The other PS titles did not have issues like this.

Ok so this happened cause of a Steam Update and is now fixed today with the last update. It mentioned a regression in the icons of SteamInput. You can turn SteamInput freely back on again now.
