Sony Studio - Bring Gravity Rush Collection to Steam!!
I love Gravity Rush 1 + 2 on PS4. I completed it years ago but I want to see it on PC like with other Sony exclusive titles

Please make it happen, Sony

There's a Gravity Rush movie underway, so they're probably already thinking about a re-release and ports

seriously? I remember that did that short anime just before the release of GR2 which showed the events between 1 & 2.

I'll keep an eye out for this movie. Im guessing it will be some 1hr long straight to DVD release. Or maybe Netflix would fund a 6ep showing but GR was a sleeper-hit with a cult following and niche community. Once the servers shut down, Japan Studio dissolved and the main developer went on to form his own studio. I believe he is doing a horror similar to his older title Silent Hill.

Like I could go back and replay 1 & 2 on PS-Vita and PS4-Pro its just my console is at my parents and Id rather just play it on PC with more options to tinker and improve. Kat & Raven model mods would be pretty good too. Maybe a ReShade too

I'd absolutely love for them to bring Gravity Rush to PC! I only ever got to play the first one on my vita.
Yeah would be cool to see both Gravity Rush 1 and 2 on steam also! :D

GR1 was first Vita game I got back in 2014 when my mam got me it for Xmas. It was a magically game and it was good to have a little world in your hands especially taking advantage of the gyroscope and motion controls. The only bad side to it you only had a little screen to take it all in and sometimes I would get a cramp in my hand if I played it for over 30mins. Thats when the PS4 port comes to play its not the same but you get to take more detail in and the artistic style.

GR2 was supposed to be for the Vita but with it being a declining device they favoured the PS4 for more power and storage which is understandable. Just like with 1 its a magically game, it answers more questions and Kat has more personality, it was fun to interact with the community too with ghost challenges and sharing pictures on photo mode.

In fact I dare say I got a PS4 just so I could play GR2. It was originally supposed to be for Tekken 7 because I thought it was going to be for Xbox/PS again but luckily they did a PC port too so GR2 was the reason I got a Pro. But completed it a month after release. Did the free Raven DLC. Then later the servers shut down so no interaction with the community, the game became somewhat dead after that. But with the amount of Sony exclusive titles we're seeing I dont think it would hurt to port GR 1 + 2 to Steam.

I even own 2 figures of Kat & Raven too

Details are scant, but what we know seems to suggest something better than that. It might be streaming-only, but we'll see. Even a streaming release would demand a pretty high production standard nowadays.

I suppose its going to go 2-ways. Its either going to be average or terrible but all we can do is just wait and see. Id rather it be done in a Japanese studio because it is a Japanese game if its going to be done in America it could change the tone of the characters, ideally you still want them to speak their native language too and not English.

Interesting but gives me a sense of apprehension

These games were a flop. I dont believe they will port it over to pc. Even tho. Them making a movie out of it.. seems pretty weird.

They are throwing their franchises at film makers without any sense.

Also happening. The John Wick director is making it, and wants to do it entirely in Japanese with Japanese actors with subtitles for the rest of the world. But the director of Prey wanted to film in Comanche and that didn't happen in the end, so that idea won't necessarily survive.

Gravity Rush was not a flop I think it just had a quiet launch because it was a Vita launch title and not many people bothered with the Vita. It was only when it got Remastered for PS4 it got some ground. And OFC same for its sequel. I think it will get a PC port but Sony just needs incentive. I mean look at Persona series, even Atlus once said Persona is for Playstation only and they tested the waters with P4 on PC and it surpassed expectations.

You could argue Days Gone was a flop because the sequel got turned down because Sony didnt see the money in it. Gravity Rush did get a sequel and a 20 - 30min anime episode.

I say bring it for PC so more people that missed out can experience it. I think it would have been one of the most ideal games to play during lockdowns because its quite mystifying and alluring. I love the series but Im not going to go out my way to play it on a Vita and bring my PS4 back from parents to play it. Id rather play it native on PC.

And yes Ghost of Tsushima will be good too. So long as Sony sees the $$$ - £££ it can happen

Sure. I just still don't believe they would do that. But someone can always hope ! I tried to get into both of them but didn't like them much. I remember some articles where the devs admitted they werent so successful but eh. I could be wrong tho.

Days Gone. That one actually still hurts. It is an amazing game with an awful cliffhanger... that probably will never get solved. Sony does some weird stuff nowadays. Everything is possible at this point.

I spent the money for the PS4 version of both 1 and 2. Never regretted it. Hopefully they bring them to PC.
