Also the "Mostly Negative" speaks volumes.
Keep believing on what you say, kind deranged 30yr old man.
Lol it's quite funny, for a multitude of reasons.
They act like gbo2 is some brand new game, and not the pc port of a dried up console game that it actually is..
It's funny knowing in a week or 2, most of them won't even be still playing, or just crying about the same things they don't like about gevo existing in gbo...
Not only that, we can expect the gbo client to have massive stability and performance issues, as pc ports of console games are notorious for this.
Update: now after spending a bit of time with gbo2... yea once the "shiny and new" wears off they will be back.. Especially when they call the pay walled units in this game "pay to win" and GBO2 you have to not only unlock them, then you have to unlock more powerful versions of them, weapons and customization parts... So the "pay 2 win" here is actually non-existent by comparison
1. Who acted like GBO2 is a brand new game?
2. GBO2 is way more rewarding. They definitely are more likely to still be playing.
3. The game runs perfectly. It just the servers right now that aren't working too well. Custom games and quick matches work fine.
Bonus: You already established earlier that you think the words "pay to win" are overused and that you yourself don't even know their definition. You've just called a game where you can easily control what suits you'll encounter and keep max point counts low to ensure you'll never face the powerful gacha suits. You don't even understand the game mechanics and how leveling your suits can prevent them from being used in matches as they go up in points for each level. You throw insult after insult at call of duty and halo and when you are given a game that isn't anything like those games you don't even give it a fair try.
Gevo's main issue is that it's a game that hands out speed like candy and casual players have trouble adapting to the fast moving combat scenarios.
GBO2 on the otherhand is one of the slowest, clunkiest games I've ever touched.
Comparing the games just shows you're desperate to prove something for some strange reason. If you want rock-paper-scissors combat and stun simulations GBO is right up your alley, if you want to get steamrolled by a Zaku on heavy doses of adderall while your teammates whine about the Barb who gets 1 kill every 3 minutes then Gevo is your game.
it's not a pacing issue..
It's a willful ignorance and unwillingness to put forth the effort to overcome it problem..
They see "fps" and instantly go into halo/CoD deathmatch mode.. and try to play the game as if it's deathmatch.. which doesn't work in games like this, but instead of trying to learn and grow.. they just keep trying to brute force though every situation..
Essentially its a problem of people who only know how to play checkers, trying to play chess, but have no desire to learn how to play chess..
Which is kinda sad because this game really isn't all that complex.. I mean calling gevo chess is would make overwatch 4d chess
STAIRDOWN agreed
There only "bad takes" either because you don't understand how the world works, or live in denial of it..
I genuinely feel bad for people like you. You genuinely don't like developer practices (which is something I can agree with)
You get upset and are vocal about them, yet many like you though action, invalidate your voices by doing things that ultimately encourage and incentive the very problems you complain about.
Keep being mad about problems, that you ultimately help to create...
