is it possible to unlock units without spending $$$?
I have been playing on and off since release and I've earned 250 of those blue points, and it costs almost 1700 to unlock ONE unit. Is there a way to farm the points or something??

I'm not spending 10$ to unlock a character in a free to play game. I am not buying the battle pass.

Just do the Beginners' Challenges and grind the Pass, that's for 2 units.
I have 3 units and would have more if I hadn't spent my Beginners' Freemium on pulls and didn't skip Season 3, that would've set 5 or maybe 6.
t. Been playing since launch and haven't spent a dime.

Yep, but you'll never have them all. I have 300 hours played and am currently missing Unicorn, Hyperion, Heavyarms, and Dynames.

I don't think you need them all to have fun. I have them all and mainly play the free units.

Not at a rate where you will ever be able to have them all unlocked on a singular account..

Gotta strong arm your playerbase some how when you know your game wont be profitable on merit alone

You make Capital from,
1. Season Pass level 18 and 58 : 1000 x 2, once per season.
2. Beginner Missions : 2000 in total, once per account.
3. Pray for events with conditions you can fulfill.
4. Twitch drops.

If you're not going to force yourself to hit Season Pass level 18, it's more effective to completely avoid logging in until they have a Returning Player event because then, you'll get 2000 Capital for skipping a Season.

You can't farm for more Capital beyond all these Season/Account limits. The only way you can generate Capital infinitely is to start new accounts constantly.

On the assumption they continue to do the returning player event every season..

The mission pass, is actually an extremely easy grind.. for context, I may have 10-15 hours a week match time.. I log in after work do my daily and log off, I play a bit more on my days off. Have had no issue finishing a pass.. I don't spend money, so I only get the 2 daily and 3 weekly, but still I'm lv 48 on the pass, with over 50 days left on it...

If you set the goal of 10 levels a week on the Pass, you will complete it with time to spare, and 10 levels is not unreasonable, I average 12-14 a week,

Even if they only bring back the Returning Players every few Seasons, getting 2000 for not logging in for 6 months is better than getting 0 for 3 Seasons. You'll only frustrate yourself if, like many last Season, you logged in to look at the Heavyarms or Hyperion, and find out that you've just lost 2000 Capital for not ignoring the game correctly.

As for mission pass, 10 - 15 hours a week match time is not an extremely easy grind. That's over an hour of consistent daily play. Considering OP hasn't even hit 18 all this time, I'm assuming he's only playing about 2 hours a week on average. The issue isn't so much that it's easy or difficult, it's just pressing some buttons to be put into a match and doing whatever. The problem is sinking in the time for the sake of sinking in time is just something not everyone finds worthwhile.

Ultimately that bonus, is just a symptom of how bad the overall health of the game is, and shows how little they actually care about the games success.

Considering your logic here, which is an angle I had never considered, it basically becomes "hey were going to reward you for not playing the game" In a game that's struggling to keep concurrent players...

So it's actually harmful, if players aren't playing with the expectation of getting it, and they will be upset if it doesn't happen... it's counterproductive, and needs to be removed and replaced with something that actually incentives people to play the game..

Your logic is spot on, it's because of that it's ultimately creating incentive to not play the game..

it's possible but not the in way you think.
new accounts can get 3 units possible in one season, but only because of the beginner's challenge capital, the season pass capital, and the random free event capital the devs give out. you wont be able to get any more than 2000 capital per season after that unless they finally add actual capital gain or keep giving away free capital.
once your account is pass the "new" stage, you'll only be able to get 1 suit per season which is every 2 months.
so if you want to unlock ALL units immediately you gotta fork out cash to the greedy scumbag developers/bandai namco.

how much would it cost with real money only?
there are 5 units that can be purchased in a bundle from the in-game store which costs $40 USD. the remaining 4 units cost $10 USD each which would cost a total of $80 USD minimum in order to unlock all locked suits without using capital(blue triangle currency). future suits will cost $10 USD each too.

unless you're a stupid ass idiot, you would rather go make alt accounts instead to "unlock all units"

its a one time thing, what they are saying is to make multiple accounts to unlock evertyone, just spread across multiple accounts

Just join/create a new account on a beginner campaign they seem fond of running. It works for the hackers it'll work for you.
