It's a glitch. Apparently tabbing out works according to people. Dying definitely works for fixing it.

I had the same thing happen to me, dying did fix it. Ill try tabbing out next time.

You know what fixes most issues? putting graphics on medium. Ever since i did that i have virtually no issues other than people leaving or dc and matches closing in 8 secs

If respawning from base, you can also press V to sortie again which also fixes it.

I get this a lot with dom specifically, and it literally cost us a match. Guntank revived me, got shot down, and it was just me and one enemy left. The enemy started disarming the megacharge and I couldn't do enough damage to kill him before they got it :(

It was Dom for me too. Now I've also been spawning without a gun as Zaku for some reason.
