What does Japan have against Iceland?

Nintendo does not recognize Iceland as a country since my Nintendo Switch had to be set to an other region cause Iceland was not in the region list.
Now Gundam is saying not available in your region, its like they don't recognize Iceland as a country, but meanwhile they all go here on vacation and are huge fan of the fish over here.
Like wtf is up with that? And when I ask why its not available here they lock the post without an answer, kinda rude if you ask me.

Nope. Iceland was a part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It was from the time when Norway was still a part of Denmark, which is probably why some people get it wrong. Greenland is still part of Denmark.

my dude, iceland is not a real country. Everyone knows iceland is a made up country from the Japanese Anime Vinland Saga, so I suggest you take your LARPing somewhere else where it is appreciated, like the Finland steam group(because Finland also doesn't exist)

Just cause you stick a flag in it doesn't mean its yours, Icelandic people are not Danish never where.
Also in general most Icelandic people I know can not stand Danish people and make fun of the fact you guys sound like Vikings with potatoes in your throat.

ah ok. I assumed iceland followed suit when some of the european countries started banning loot boxes like the netherlands and belgium. I dont know why else Iceland wasn't considered, maybe low pop. I went there in the winter and met the whole five people that live there. Nice people. Beautiful yard.
