Can't play the DLC with friend

Hello,
like it said in the title, I can't play the DLC with my friend because it says that they do not have the DLC even though they do
We both bought and played the game on Epic Game
We kinda tried everything and don't know what else to do to be able to play

Solution found

The problem was that they didn't accept to link their epic account with the game so it couldn't verify that they got the DLC or not, I guess. (This or because they didn't verify their linked email address)

And how exactly do you linked the account, because for my friend she bought the dlc from the store page on epic, and we are kinda in a pickle

I had this problem too when I bought the dlc in Epic Games (coz it was cheaper).
So, the linking account page request automatically shows up as a new tab on your browser (in my case, Opera) when you Launch the game.

At first I kept rejecting it coz I don't like of linking accounts to anything.
But... since it otherwise doesn't recognize the dlc, I had to accept the link. It immediately shows up in the Tab button.
