I turn on v-sync and turn off Strobing lights and it's a lot better but not perfect...
We're also working on adding an FoV slider and an option to not use split screen online - both of which should be helpful.
There's also a bit of camera shake going on if you walk forward then tap a side direction - also looking to fix this.
Unfortunately we're not "exactly" sure what is the culprit or worse offender in terms of motion sickness but we're keeping an eye on the feedback and hopefully the above will have some positive impact.
For me it's not the look sensitivity, I actually turned it up because it was soo slow in the beginning.
Anway, I can play the game with VSynch turned on, so that's great :)
I'm glad I found this conversation, I just started playing this game together with my girlfriend and the first time we played it she had to run to the bathroom to vomit which was super weird, I was already making plans about what color to paint the picture of the future baby on the way 'xD, the next day we played again and again he felt like vomiting but this time I was also feeling bad so I started to find out if the game could have something to do since I remembered having read some time ago about ''motion sickness'' in video games.
It's very rare to play and start to feel bad... and apparently that problem hasn't been corrected yet. u.u'
Also I think it is a problem, that it switches between moving camera with the mouse and screens where you move a cursor and the camera is fixed. Also it's zooming in and out a lot and after you click on something with the cursor, the cursor position resets to the middle of the screen instead of remaining where you clicked.
Oh and of course the time aspect, you want to move the camera fast not take your time for slow movement.
I've had worse sickness problems with other games, but long sessions are problematic.
Tip: eat ginger, or plug one ear only with an earplug. This confuses the vestibular organ and for me is a great remedy, astonishingly.
