Anyone else having problems with motion sickness?
I can't pinpoint why, because the movements seem pretty standard to me, and I've never ever experienced this before in a game but this one made me so motion sick I almost had to throw up. I didn't have this problem in the demo (but maybe that's because the demo wasn't long enough).
I was really looking forward to playing this today :(

We're also working on adding an FoV slider and an option to not use split screen online - both of which should be helpful.
There's also a bit of camera shake going on if you walk forward then tap a side direction - also looking to fix this.
Unfortunately we're not "exactly" sure what is the culprit or worse offender in terms of motion sickness but we're keeping an eye on the feedback and hopefully the above will have some positive impact.

Same here
I turn on v-sync and turn off Strobing lights and it's a lot better but not perfect...

I'll try if VSynch makes any difference for me, thanks for the tip!

Weird. A lot of games give me motion sickness but I haven't experienced it with this one.

I'm struggling with this too. I think it's connected to the fact that the look sensitivity seems really high, even on the lowest setting - on higher settings it's unplayable for me as it whips around so much.

VSynch seems to have helped, I've played about 1 1/2 h today and I'm not puking my guts out, so that's good. Still did feel a bit weird at times but it was fine.
For me it's not the look sensitivity, I actually turned it up because it was soo slow in the beginning.
Anway, I can play the game with VSynch turned on, so that's great :)

I'm glad I found this conversation, I just started playing this game together with my girlfriend and the first time we played it she had to run to the bathroom to vomit which was super weird, I was already making plans about what color to paint the picture of the future baby on the way 'xD, the next day we played again and again he felt like vomiting but this time I was also feeling bad so I started to find out if the game could have something to do since I remembered having read some time ago about ''motion sickness'' in video games.

It's very rare to play and start to feel bad... and apparently that problem hasn't been corrected yet. u.u'

I adjusted the fov which helped a bit, turned off shake/strobe/etc effects and i also avoid looking at the screen whenever it zooms onto certain things -.-' still just have to limit myself to hour-long sessions, and always hydrate before/during play. This, at least, is far better for me than The Witness, which made me absolutely miserable.
My son and I just played for about an hour and quickly remembered why we stopped playing two years ago as we both were stricken with motion sickness

Just started the game today and had to stop after an hour, even with FOV turned up to maximum. For me it's with games in small enclosed spaces/rooms which require looking around and turning a lot. That's what this game is all about naturally.

Also I think it is a problem, that it switches between moving camera with the mouse and screens where you move a cursor and the camera is fixed. Also it's zooming in and out a lot and after you click on something with the cursor, the cursor position resets to the middle of the screen instead of remaining where you clicked.
Oh and of course the time aspect, you want to move the camera fast not take your time for slow movement.

I've had worse sickness problems with other games, but long sessions are problematic.

Tip: eat ginger, or plug one ear only with an earplug. This confuses the vestibular organ and for me is a great remedy, astonishingly.
