Tiandao Research center seems to have blocked path with some kind of lock down in progress with some organic substance blocking doors.

Otherwise I dont see any places to progress!

You need to make your way toward the Empyrean District through the Sky Tower. It can be accessed with the double jump by climbing further up the tower where you first meet Ji in the Lake Yaochi Ruins.

Since you've already cleared Grotto, you can also just go immediately left of the doorway to Ji's room and head that way. It leads to the same area through a different route. You'll want to eventually use both routes if you're trying to get everything.

Ok I just beat Goumang. Now I am confused where to go. Any clear suggestions?

I wish they had given fasttravel option. Every metroidvania does it. Navigation is a pain in nine sols because of no fasttravel!

After clearing Goumang you'll want to go to the left side of the map. Just go back to the pavilion, exit the normal way and head left. You should find something you need to use the charged slash on in order to get past.
I believe Abacus hints at where you should go if you talk to him but I'm not sure if this is always the case.

Ok sorry. Everybody obviously plays such a 2d game in a different order. So its hard to even get help!!
In my case I had left the factory underground area half unexplored. Gonna do that and see where it leads.
